A loan against securities (LAS) is a financial product where you pledge your securities as collateral to obtain a loan. Securities that can be pledged as collateral include: Shares, Mutual funds, Bonds, Insurance policies, Fixed deposits.

LAS loans are secured loans offered by banks and non-banking financial corporations (NBFCs).
